What happens in a first consultation?
We begin simply by listening. You share as much or as little as feels right. Then we explain your options in plain language, without legal jargon, and answer any questions you have. A written summary of the conversation is prepared for you to take away.
How long do parenting arrangement cases take?
Every family's situation is different, so timelines vary. Some matters can be resolved through cooperative discussion in a few weeks; others that involve disagreements may take longer. We will give you an honest, realistic picture after learning about your situation.
Is everything I share kept private?
Yes. Legal professional privilege applies to all our client communications. Nothing you share will be passed to any third party without your knowledge and consent. Discretion is central to how we work.
Do I need to have decided what to do before I contact you?
Not at all. Many people come to us while they are still thinking things through. A first consultation is exactly the right place to explore possibilities before making any decisions. There is no expectation that you will proceed with anything after speaking with us.
What are the fees and how are they structured?
Our fees are set out clearly before any work begins. The initial consultation is ฿1,460, parenting and support arrangements start at ฿2,930, and cooperative agreement drafting starts at ฿4,140. There are no hidden charges. We will discuss the likely total at the beginning so you can plan ahead.
Can you help if my former partner and I are on speaking terms?
Yes — cooperative situations are something we are well placed to support. We can help you reach and document a shared understanding in a way that is fair to both sides and clear enough to rely on.
